Daytime-AM and PM trips are Drift Fishing Trips on the Reef

Most of our fishing on our 2 daytime trips is done on the reef in 100’ of water, about a mile offshore of Ft Lauderdale beach. We target Kingfish, Mackerel, Tuna, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, and even the occasional Sailfish. Different species bite at different times of the year but there are lots of species that are possible to catch. To find out what we're catching right now, check out my fishing report page.

Night Yellowtail Snapper Anchor Fishing (6 hours on Saturday)

Our night anchor fishing trip is our trip for the best action. On our night anchor trip, we anchor the boat in 45'-100' of water. We chum the water and get the fish swarming behind the boat. Our target is to catch yellowtail snapper. We also catch some mutton snappers, groupers, cobias, kingfish, and lots of other reef dwellers. If you're looking for action, this is your trip.

Weekly Specialty Trips

Wednesday All Day Dolphin Fishing Trip

The Wednesday all day trip runs from 8AM-4PM, on Wednesday every week. On this trip, we head offshore, about 10 miles offshore of Fort Lauderdale, in search of Dolphin. We look for weedlines, chase down sea gulls and frigate birds that look like they’re on fish, lookout for any debris floating that might hold some dolphins and wahoo. We usually spend a couple hours trolling around offshore. If we don’t find much luck with the dolphin fishing, we’ll try any number of different fishing techniques. We may go trolling the reef for kingfish, wahoo, and tuna. Perhaps we’ll try fishing some of the Fort Lauderdale shipwrecks for snappers and groupers. If there’s a plenty of wind, we may try sailfishing with kites and live baits. The great thing about this trip is that it is all day, so we have a lot of time to try a lot of different types of fishing.

Wednesday All Day Dolphin Trip $65 adults and $50 for children

Friday Night Open Boat Swordfishing trip

Swordfish Open Boat Trip $135 Per Peson

Tackle rental included

Fort Lauderdale Drift fishingThe Friday Night Swordfishing trip has made us famous here in Fort Lauderdale. Every Friday night we take out a group of fisherman, 15 miles offshore out to Swordfishing grounds. We take out between 10-15 people total, and we drift for swordfish using rigged squids, dead mackerals and live blue runners. The mate rigs up each fisherman with a flashing light stick about 10 feet from the bait. The flashing light actually attracts the swordfish to the bait and will entice him to bite. For this trip, we charge the very low price of only $100 per person, and $15 for heavy tackle rental if you do not have your own heavy tackle rod and reel combo to use. Heavy tackle of at least 50# class is required to potentially catch swordfish. Check out more information about this trip on the Swordfishing charters page.
