About Captain Andy

My name is Paul Roydhouse. I've been fishing the waters off Fort Lauderdale almost every day of my life since I was 17 years old. It's been 40 years now, and I still love it. Fishing is the most fun thing to do in the whole wide world. It takes skill, but it's fun even if you don't have any skill. And anyone can pick up the basic skills of fishing pretty quick. It takes patience. Not on every fishing trip are the fish going to be jumping in the boat. You have to wait for the bite, sometime for an eternity and then be ready when it does hit. Fishing tests your wit, your patience, your resolve and sometimes your sanity. It's my favorite way to spend my day. As I have been for my entire life, I enjoy taking people fishing and using my skills to help them catch lots of fish.
